Taijuan Walker Earns Ninth Win Over Marlins
2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker picked up his ninth win of the season Sunday, as he allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks to the Marlins in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four batters. Walker has quietly been among the best starters in the league this season, pitching to a 2.79 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 103 1/3 innings. His upside is limited with only 80 strikeouts this season, but he's been more than a useful piece for fantasy managers in all league formats.
