3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker endured another difficult outing Saturday, allowing six runs on eight hits and four walks to the Toronto Blue Jays in four innings. He struck out just one batter, and there of the hits against him went for home runs. Walker has not thrown a quality start since June 15, and his ERA for July sits at an unsightly 9.00. Even worse, Walker is reported to have felt a pinch in his non-throwing shoulder during this game, though he stayed on the mound and concern is minimal. Fantasy managers should sit Walker for the time being, and hope he can get back to his first-half all-star form.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
