Taijuan Walker Lasts Four Innings In No-Decision
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Taijuan Walker lived up to his last name by walking five batters in four innings during the team’s 2-1 win over the Yankees on Tuesday. He was fortunate enough to not allow a run in the outing after giving up a pair of hits and throwing just 43 of 88 pitches for strikes in the no-decision. Walker has been known to get a little wild, but he’s managed to keep decent control so far in his resurgent 2020 campaign. He’ll have a chance for redemption against this same Yankees club in his next scheduled start a week from now.
