4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker (side) was placed on the 10-day injured list with left side tightness on Wednesday, according to Justin Toscano of NorthJersey.com. Walker exited his start on Monday due to tightness in his left side after throwing three scoreless innings, and an MRI on Tuesday showed no obvious issues. Manager Luis Rojas described the move as precautionary while they attempt to figure out the cause of this issue. Walker was 3-1 with a 2.05 ERA and 23.7 percent strikeout rate to start the year, as he now becomes the 14th Met to land on the injured list.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
