3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker (side) threw a simulated game on Tuesday and is expected back without a rehab start, according to Anthony DiComo. Walker left his start last week with side tightness and landed on the 10-day injured list. Based on reports, it sounds like the injury is minor and Walker should be back soon. The 28-year-old is having a strong season for the Mets with a 3-1 record and a 2.05 ERA supported by strong supporting metrics like a 2.87 FIP and a 29% CSW%.
