3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker is tentatively scheduled to make his first start of the second half of the 2021 season on Saturday against the Pirates on the road. Walker, who allowed a home run to Tampa Bay Rays catcher Mike Zunino in the All-Star game on Tuesday, struggled in his final start of the first half against the Pirates. The 28-year-old All-Star will look to rebound against those same Pirates at PNC Park. He finished the first half of the season with a 2.50 ERA, a 1.03 WHIP, and 89 strikeouts in 90 IP over 16 starts. Walker has been a huge addition to the Mets and fantasy teams in 2021. He should remain active in all formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
