5 years agoEarly on in training camp, it looked like the Houston Texans were set to roll with Josh Ferguson as their third-down back, but veteran running back Taiwan Jones has come on strong lately in the battle for that spot. Jones has been practicing with Houston's starters at times and the veteran has plenty of experience playing on special teams, which head coach Bill O'Brien says is necessary to earn a backup running back spot on this team. Keep an eye on the Ferguson/Jones in preseason, as the winner could have some situational value in deeper leagues.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
