3 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Tajae Sharpe (foot) has been deemed doubtful to play in Sunday's game against Detroit due to a foot injury. Sharpe missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, with his ailment not progressing after leaving the Week 15 matchup early. The 27-year-old has seen a considerable snap count with Calvin Ridley (personal) not in the mix, but it hasn't translated to on-field results; through 14 games, Sharpe has accumulated just 25 catches for 230 yards. Since entering the starting lineup with consistency back in Week 9, Sharpe has yet to exceed three catches in any outing. Without him on the field, Olamide Zaccheaus and Christian Blake stand to see a higher target share, while Kyle Pitts and Russell Gage stand out as Matt Ryan's top pass-catching options.--Jesse Borek
