4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea (COVID-19 list) was transferred to the COVID-19/reserve list Saturday, further cementing his out status for Sunday against Kansas City. (Players do not necessarily have to test positive in order to be placed on the list.) Having been on injured reserve due to a leg fracture, Vea has proven to be a stalwart of the Buccaneers Defense when healthy. Even without his presence on the defensive line, Tampa Bay has been one of the premier defensive units in fantasy, having allowed a league-best 73 rushing yards per game in 2020. With Vea injured, there's optimism that his placement on the COVID-19/reserve list should not affect Sunday's contest versus the Chiefs, although it's worth checking back ahead of kickoff to confirm.--Jesse Borek
