3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Tanner Houck lasted 4 2/3 innings Tuesday, allowing three runs on eight hits and a walk to the Minnesota Twins in a no-decision. He struck out six batters. Boston was surely looking for more length from Houck, but this is what fantasy managers can expect for the rest of the year: brief, high-upside starts. Houck has yet to go more than five innings this season, and as such cannot be counted on for wins or quality starts, though he has whiffed an impressive 52 batters in 39 1/3 innings.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
