3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Tanner Houck took his third loss of the season Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays, but in doing so he flashed his terrific potential, especially as a fantasy asset. Houck allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and no walks in five innings, but it's his strikeout totals that really warrant attention. Houck set down eight batters, and he now has 44 in 30 2/3 innings this year to go with a 2.93 ERA. Now that he's been permanently moved into the rotation, he should be on fantasy rosters for his upside alone.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
