3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Tanner Houck made his third start of the year Thursday and shone for 4 2/3 innings before a rain delay ended his evening. He allowed just one unearned run to the New York Yankees on two hits and two walks while striking out eight batters. Houck has certainly earned more opportunities out of the rotation, as he now has a 2.50 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 23 strikeouts in 18 innings this season.
