Tanner Houck Ineffective Against White Sox
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Tanner Houck was ineffective against the Chicago White Sox Friday night, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings. The big blow was a Jose Abreu three-run home run, leaving Houck with his fourth loss of the season. He's still in search of his first win. Houck has posted solid numbers, with a 3.54 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 63 strikeouts in 53 1/3 innings, but he won't be an effective fantasy starter until he goes deeper into games.
