3 years agoBoston Red Sox right-hander Tanner Houck and Kutter Crawford were placed on the restricted list on Monday because they are unvaccinated from COVID-19. In a corresponding move, Tyler Danish and John Schreiber were called up from the minor leagues. The Red Sox are traveling to Canada this week to face the Toronto Blue Jays, but Houck and Crawford won't be allowed to make the trip. With Houck not making his next start until this Friday against the Baltimore Orioles, right-hander Garrett Whitlock is in line to make his second start of the year at Toronto on Thursday. Whitlock has been lights-out so far in 2022, and he fanned seven batters and walked none in four scoreless innings in his first start of the year on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Rays.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
