4 years agoVancouver Canucks left wing Tanner Pearson (lower body) has been ruled out for at least four weeks. He had just started to pick up pace following a long dry spell, recording two points in three outings, but an apparent ankle problem will now lead to a month-long absence. Pearson has 11 points for the season and he was skating on the first line before getting hurt. His injury gives Jimmy Vesey a chance to make his Canucks debut. The former college hockey standout was claimed off waivers this week. He posted seven points in 30 outings with very limited minutes for Toronto.
