7 years agoWashington Nationals starter Tanner Roark went seven strong innings against the Braves on Monday, striking out six and walking one. Roark gave up four hits and one earned run. He threw 62 of his 93 pitches for strikes. The most noticeable thing about Roark was his return to the windup, which he had experimented with in spring training. The Nationals will no doubt want him to keep whatever was working. Roark doesn't get the love that his higher profile battery mates do, but he's a reliable source of innings with moderate strikeout numbers.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
