6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tanner Roark held the St. Louis Cardinals to one run over 5 1/3 innings in a 5-2 win in Monterrey, Mexico on Saturday. Roark struck out five and scattered six hits in the outing. The veteran right-hander has been effective in his first season with the Reds, posting a 4.30 ERA, 1.70 WHIP, and 15 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings of work. He doesn't have much upside, which limits his mixed-league appeal, but he can serve as a decent option in NL-only formats. He will look for his first win when he takes on the San Diego Padres on Thursday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
