Tanner Roark Strikes Out A Pair In Spring Debut
5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Tanner Roark made his spring debut versus the Phillies on Thursday, allowing one run in two complete frames. He served up a home run to Roman Quinn in the first inning, but went on to strike out a pair of batters while surrendering two walks to complete his first taste of Grapefruit League action. Roark battled an illness earlier in camp, but will have enough time to stretch out as a member of the team's Opening Day rotation. He signed a two-year deal this offseason to eat up innings for the club, but won't hold much fantasy value outside of AL-only formats.
