3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal (shin) said he has a bruise on his left shin but feels good otherwise and expects to be able to make his next start in the rotation. He was diagnosed with a left leg contusion after being hit by a comebacker in his start on Friday against the Cleveland Guardians. The 25-year-old is scheduled to make his next start on Wednesday on the road against the Minnesota Twins, and for now, fantasy managers should expect to have him available to pitch. The left-hander has been excellent so far in 2022, going 3-2 with a 2.22 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, eight walks and 50 strikeouts in 44 2/3 innings over his first eight starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
