3 years agoDetroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal left his Friday night start against the Cleveland Guardians after he was hit on the shin by a line drive. Cleveland outfielder Ernie Clement sent a liner back up the middle to end the bottom of the fifth inning. Skubal limped off of the field following the play and was replaced on the mound by Jacob Barnes for the sixth. The lefty was dealing before departing, tossing five scoreless innings with five strikeouts. Expect the Tigers to update Skubal's status at the end of Friday's game.--Matt T - RotoBaller
