2 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal (7-8) allowed one unearned run on two hits and two walks while striking out nine across six innings in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Oakland Athletics. He picked up his seventh win of the season. The southpaw threw 92 pitches, landing 63 for strikes. The 25-year-old has struck out at least five batters in five of his last six starts. He owns a 3.88 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 111 strikeouts across 106 2/3 innings in 2022.
