5 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel caught two passes for 24 yards in the Bears disappointing 10-3 loss to the Packers in Week 1. Gabriel was targeted five times, none more important than a possible chunk-play reception that resulted in an offensive pass interference penalty on Gabriel. The veteran is no more than role player on an offense that had aspirations of taking a step forward this season. That step forward will have to wait a week after a dismal performance and now will face a talented Broncos Defense in Denver next week.--Joey C - RotoBaller
