3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Taylor Hearn made the most of his opportunity to start versus the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. He went five innings, five hits allowed, two earned runs, and two strikeouts in the 3-1 loss. The only damage Hearn allowed in the contest were two sacrifice flies. Sadly, the Rangers were unable to give Hearn much run support. He is posting a 3.97 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 35 appearances (four starts) this season. Hearn might be a low-end streaming option, but it's uncertain if he's sticking in the starting rotation.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
