3 years agoTexas Rangers long reliever Taylor Hearn was given the starting nod against the Houston Astros on Sunday. Normally, Hearn operates has the long reliever out of the bullpen. However, he was given a start on Sunday and was quite impressive. He threw three scoreless innings, no hits allowed, one walk, and three strikeouts. Sadly, the Rangers bullpen blew the lead, but Hearn looked solid here. It's uncertain if this was one a time occasion or if Texas is beginning to stretch out Hearn for a permanent role in the rotation. For now, Hearn can remain ignored in fantasy formats until further notice.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
