3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Taylor Rogers could be of interest to the New York Mets, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post. Rogers is eligible for arbitration, but given that he is due a raise from his 2021 salary of $6 million dollars, the Twins could choose not to tender the left-hander a contract. With the loss of Aaron Loup to the Angels today, the Mets would then be positioned to make Rogers their primary lefty out of the bullpen. Rogers was an All-Star in 2021, recording a 3.35 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with nine saves and 59 strikeouts in 40 1/3 innings. He is a perennial value in fantasy leagues that reward holds.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
