3 years agoSan Diego Padres pitcher Taylor Rogers allowed one hit and no walks while striking out one over a scoreless inning to earn the save during Thursday's 7-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds. He entered the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead and tossed a scoreless inning to notch his seventh save of the year. The 31-year-old has been one of the best closers in baseball, converting 7-of-8 opportunities while sporting a 0.00 ERA and 0.63 WHIP over eight innings in 2022. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Rogers as he continues to rack up the saves for the Padres this season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
