Taylor Trammell Goes Deep Friday At Triple-A
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell (hamstring) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Tacoma on Friday night while playing center field and hitting leadoff. Trammell has been out with a right hamstring strain since late June, but he's getting close to returning to Seattle. The 24-year-old has played in only 32 games for the M's this year in his second major league season, and he's hitting .235/.323/.457 with three home runs, nine RBI, 14 runs scored and two stolen bases in 94 plate appearances. But if he returns to regular playing time for the Mariners once he's activated from the injured list, he's worth a pickup in deeper fantasy leagues for his power alone.
