4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell is expected to lose his roster spot when the team calls up top prospect Jarred Kelenic later in the week. Trammell had a strong spring but has scuffled at the plate in the regular season, with an underwhelming .157/.255/.337 slash line and a 43.2 percent strikeout rate. The 23-year-old did flash the potential to be a contributor in both the home run, four, and stolen base, two, categories, though he's likely going to need to modify his approach at the plate down in the minors.--Tim Capurso
