Taylor Trammell Shines Again Thursday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell played left field and led off Thursday, and once again made his presence felt. Trammell went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, driving in one run and scoring two. He also stole a base. It is now difficult to imagine that anyone other than Trammell will start the season as the everyday left fielder for the Mariners. If Trammell's .310/.394/.586 line carries over into the regular season, the only question will be how do the Mariners make enough playing time for him once Jarred Kelenic comes up from the minors. Trammell is a speculative late-round draft pick with upside.
