Taylor Ward Activated And Starting Tuesday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward (hamstring, neck) was activated from the injured list on Tuesday and is in the starting lineup against Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin, playing in right field and batting leadoff. Fantasy managers will want to get Ward back into their starting lineups immediately, as he's been great this year with a .333/.443/.644 slash line with a 1.087 OPS, 10 home runs, 26 RBI, 30 runs scored and a stolen base in 158 plate appearances over 38 games played. The 28-year-old has been out since June 3 with a sore hamstring and a neck stinger, but he'll immediately return to an everyday role in the Angels outfield.
