Taylor Ward Goes Deep In Loss To Rays
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in the team's 8-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. Ward has mostly been cold in the month of July, but he's recently showed some signs of breaking out his slump, so fantasy managers in deeper leagues may want to throw him into their lineups moving forward. The 28-year-old is hitting just .216 (19-for-88) in August, but he does have four home runs, 11 RBI and six runs scored in 23 games played. Ward hasn't been bad in 2022, slashing .261/.351/.447 with 17 home runs, 46 RBI, 54 runs scored and three stolen bases in 427 plate appearances over 101 games for the Halos.
