4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Taylor Widener earned a quality start over the Nationals on Friday, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out three in six scoreless innings. It was Widener's second start this year in which he pitched six innings and allowed no runs, as he is now 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 17 innings this year. Widener is looking more and more like a solid fantasy starter as the season goes on, and in deeper formats he's worth rostering while in shallow leagues he's a solid streaming option.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
