4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill has been granted QB eligibility for Sunday's contest versus Atlanta in the wake of Drew Brees' (ribs) injury situation. While New Orleans has not yet made it official who will start under center against the Falcons, Jameis Winston was the primary fill-in when Brees was unable to finish Sunday's game versus San Francisco. Hill, who has long been a proponent of eventually transitioning back to the QB position, has thrown just five passes this year, completing four of them. His season-long fantasy appeal isn't high, but it's entirely conceivable that he'll see a larger role without Brees in the mix, and his dual-threat appeal as both a rusher and pass catcher presents him with more non-passing TD value than most other traditional QBs in the league. At this stage, only those fantasy managers in two-QB formats should be eyeing Hill, although if he takes over the starting job, that could change rapidly.--Jesse Borek
