2 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (finger) appears in line to start on Sunday despite suffering mallet finger last week against the Cowboys. Hill jammed his finger on the outstretched arm of a Cowboy defender and then had to play the rest of the game with a splint on his throwing hand. As you know, Hill proceeded to then throw four interceptions; however, he also had a great fantasy day because of his rushing upside and a long touchdown pass to Deonte Harris (that was like 90% Harris after the catch). Given that Hill has had 10 days to recover and will likely spend all week in practice throwing with protection on his finger, we can expect a better throwing outcome against the Jets. However, with Kamara back, Hill dinged up, and the Saints expected to win this one easily, the Saints are likely to feature a run heavy approach that could limit Hill's upside if he isn't the one doing a lot of the running. As a result, he'll be a risky low-end QB1 with considerable upside.--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
