3 years agoNew Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said that quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) is dealing with a Lisfranc injury. Hill is questionable to return for the second half of the Week 18 regular season finale against the Atlanta Falcons. Lisfranc injuries typically require lengthy absences, especially for a player like Hill that uses his legs as a big part of his game. Before leaving the game in the first half, Hill went 7-for-9 passing for 107 yards and a touchdown and carried the ball five times for an additional 18 yards. It seems unlikely that we'll see Hill return to this must-win game, and if New Orleans gets into the playoffs with a win and a 49ers loss, Hill will be fighting an uphill battle to play in the wild-card round next week. Trevor Siemian entered the game with Hill injured and has gone 5-for-9 for 35 yards and two touchdowns.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
