3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel remains on the roster, weeks after it was reported he wanted out. Yet, despite being speculated he would be gone by the end of the 2022 NFL Draft, the hybrid wideout wasn't moved. General manager John Lynch remains confident he can get the 26-year-old to sign an extension. However, linebacker Fred Warner was the most recent member of the franchise to chime in by indicating to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero that he expects Samuel to receive a new contract and remain with the Niners going forward. Unquestionably, Samuel was one of the most potent fantasy options last season. But considering he is looking to get significantly fewer snaps out of the backfield, his fantasy production could decline significantly, especially if he isn't paired with a quality signal-caller.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
