Teams Monitoring Terry McLaurin
3 years agoThe Washington Commanders have yet to engage in serious contract discussions with wide receiver Terry McLaurin and his agent, and league sources at the owners' meetings said they imagine McLaurin's representation to aim for financial terms in the Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill range. Other teams are monitoring McLaurin's situation in case an opening to acquire him emerges. Sources on both sides anticipate intensified extension talks for McLaurin starting around or after the NFL draft, which begins on April 28. Head coach Ron Rivera said no team has reached out about a possible trade for McLaurin and also said, "we wouldn't entertain it." As of now, the 26-year-old pass-catcher is expected to remain in D.C., where he won't have a very high fantasy ceiling with quarterback Carson Wentz now under center.
