5 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Ted Ginn came close to a touchdown catch on two occasions against the Chicago Bears in Week 7. First, Ginn dropped a slightly late pass from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in the end zone after being hit by Bears cornerback Prince Amukamara. Later in the game, Ginn hauled in a deep ball from Bridgewater but was tackled inside the five-yard line. The 34-year-old finished the game with two catches on five targets for 48 yards. He's boom or bust because of how deep down the field he's generally targeted. However, Ginn would stand to benefit from quarterback Drew Brees' (thumb) return. The veteran receiver posted seven catches on seven targets for 101 yards in Brees' only game back in Week 1.--Tim Capurso
