Teddy Blueger Scores Pair Of Goals In Road Win
6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Teddy Blueger posted a short-handed goal while adding an even-strength marker in Monday's 5-2 road victory against the New York Rangers. Blueger was centering the second line with Evgeni Malkin (upper body) out of the lineup again, and he did his best Geno impressive to put the game out of reach. His shorthanded goal put the team up 4-2, and his other goal was an insurance marker. Blueger has registered three goals and five points with a plus-four rating over the past seven outings while recording a pair of short-handed points across the past two games. He is a solid low-cost DFS option while running hot and as long as Malkin is on the shelf. The Pens are back in action Friday against the Nashville Predators.
