Teddy Bridgewater Placed On IR To Officially End Season
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday, officially ending his season and potentially his time with the Denver Broncos after just one season. Drew Lock will continue to start in place of Bridgewater when the Broncos take on the Chiefs on Saturday to close out their season. The Broncos will likely continue to play a ball-control, run-first offense that doesn't require Lock to have to throw much, especially as they try to keep Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense off of the field. Even though the Bengals showed last week that you can throw on the Chiefs, Lock is not a recommended play in season-long leagues or on a short-Saturday DFS slate.
