Teddy Bridgewater Set For Limited Practice Session Wednesday
4 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) is on track for a limited practice Wednesday due to the MCL sprain that he sustained Sunday versus Tampa Bay. Head coach Matt Rhule has expressed optimism at having Bridgewater under center come Week 11 against Detroit, and the fact that he'll be able to log at least a limited session Wednesday can only mean positive things for his status. With that being said, Bridgewater will undoubtedly be banged up versus the Lions if he does eventually get the green light, making him a risky DFS or season-long option, especially if Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is not active to help lighten the load. Should Bridgewater be unable to suit up come Sunday, P.J. Walker and Will Grier are the two likeliest candidates to earn the start.
