6 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Teddy Bridgewater couldn't have looked better in his limited showing in Friday's preseason matchup. The oft-injured 25-year-old showed no signs of impact from his career-pausing injury, completing seven of eight passes, including a touchdown early in the first quarter. Most notably, Bridgewater showed strong mobility both inside and outside the pocket, which should put concerns about his knee to rest for now. Bridgewater has been mentioned as a trade candidate should a suitor become available for his services. A trade may be what is best for the quarterback's fantasy value, as the Jets seem poised to give the starting role to rookie Sam Darnold in short order. This is a situation worth monitoring, as Bridgewater could have some value with another team, but for now he should remain off your fantasy draft board.--Justin Friel
