3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater showed his toughness last week when he returned from a lower right leg injury to help beat the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. However, it didn't lead to much in the box score or in fantasy, as he went 11-for-18 for 129 yards and one touchdown. Bridgewater was able to practice in full all week and will be ready for an AFC West showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. One would think that the Broncos will have to go to the air more than they like in this matchup, which should in theory make Bridgewater a more exciting QB2 play in superflex leagues against a KC defense that's allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to QBs. He has a nice 15:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio in 11 games in 2021, but Bridgewater has gone over 300 yards passing just twice and not since Week 6.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
