7 years agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee), who is now with the Jets, had a concerning postseason medical evaluation of his left knee. "The reports I'd get back from the medical people weren't as positive as I was about it," Zimmer said. "That's kind of how it came down is that his knee wasn't as ... he still has some recovery to do. When I watched him in practice, he moved well, I didn't see limitations, but, from what I was told, there was some." Bridgewater suffered a dislocated knee during a preseason drill in August of 2016, and it took him almost 15 month of rehab before he was medically cleared last November. The Jets signed him to a one-year deal worth $500,000 in guarantees, which means they could cut him before Week 1 and only take a $500,000 hit in dead money. There's certainly the possibility that Bridgewater will never take another NFL snap again, which is why the Jets didn't give him much guaranteed money. New York also re-signed veteran Josh McCown and are fully expected to draft a QB with the third overall pick in the draft. Bridgewater shouldn't be on the fantasy radar heading into 2018 drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
