Tee Higgins Has Big Game In Super Bowl Loss
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins led the team with 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns on four receptions in the 23-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. Higgins' seven targets trailed only rookie Ja'Marr Chase, who had eight. The highlight of the game came on the first play of the second half, when Higgins took a Joe Burrow pass 75 yards down the sideline for a touchdown. His other touchdown catch came on a trick play that was thrown by running back Joe Mixon. The 23-year-old had his first 1,000-yard season and scored six touchdowns on 74 receptions in his second year in the NFL. Higgins has shown plenty of explosiveness, and having Chase across the field will only continue to open things up for him in his third season. He'll be a strong WR2 option for fantasy managers in 2022 and has the potential for spike WR1 weeks along the way.
