4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tejay Antone pitched well in a 3-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Antone allowed one run over five innings while striking out six and walking two. The young right-hander performed well in his spot start assignment, holding the Pirates to just five hits. Antone has been a nice surprise for the Reds this season, posting a 0-1 record, 2.49 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and 33 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings of work Antone may be headed back to a relief role after this but he's at least earned some consideration for the next time Cincy needs a spot starter.--Matt T - RotoBaller
