Tejay Antone Throws Scoreless Inning In Rehab Game
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tejay Antone (forearm) threw a scoreless inning in a rehab game for Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday. Antone struck out two of the three batters he faced in the appearance. The veteran hurler has been sidelined since June 24 with a forearm strain and has been on his rehab assignment since Saturday. The right-handed reliever should be able to join the big league club sometime in the next week or so. Antone has a 2-0 record, 1.87 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, three saves, and 42 strikeouts over 33 2/3 innings of work this season.
