3 years agoWashington Football Team tight ends Temarrick Hemingway (concussion) and Sammis Reyes (concussion) were back at practice Monday. The two are battling with rookie John Bates, Ricky Seals-Jones, and Caleb Wilson for the No. 2 role behind Logan Thomas, so it is important they are able to suit up in the team's final preseason game on Saturday. Reyes has received high praise from the coaching staff because of his blocking ability, which would probably be the main factor if he were to crack the roster. Hemingway started to get some meaningful playing time last season before he suffered a wrist injury in Week 13, so the coaching staff is familiar with what he can bring to the table. Whoever wins the backup job could play some meaningful snaps, but they will have no fantasy appeal unless Thomas misses some time. Still, even if Thomas were to miss some time, the starting tight end for Washington would only be a potential option in deep leagues.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
