6 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling seemingly has an excellent opportunity to rebound this Sunday against a vulnerable Arizona Cardinals team. Valdes-Scantling has had a rough past three weeks, with only 55 yards receiving over that span, after breaking out earlier in the year. The issue is that his struggles over the past handful of games stem from some very real issues. He has demonstrated a real difficulty with creating separation in one-on-one situations. This wasn’t as evident when he was attracting minimal defensive attention, but that time has come and passed. Additionally, Green Bay could be getting wide receivers Randall Cobb and Jake Kumerow back from injuries this week. Both players were above Valdes-Scantling on the depth chart in training camp. Valdes-Scantling is worth keeping an eye on due to his deep-threat ability, but should only be rostered in dynasty leagues. Despite the good matchup, Valdes-Scantling should not be started in Week 13 especially since there are no more teams on bye.--Tyger McGuiggan
