Darrynton Evans To Return From Injured Reserve
4 years agoTennessee Titans rookie running back Darrynton Evans (hamstring) was designated to return from Injured Reserve on Monday, giving the team three weeks to return him to the active roster. Evans, who was selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Appalachian State, figured to become the backup for Derrick Henry, but that role has been filled primarily by Jeremy McNichols and D'Onta Foreman. With that trio heading the backfield, Evans figures to carry very little fantasy appeal upon his activation in single-year leagues, particularly with Henry being one of the top running backs in the NFL. With just 13 snaps to his credit thus far in his professional career, Evans can remain firmly on the waiver wire in all season-long formats for the time being.
